13 iPad Issues
13 iPad Issues
The new iPad shows great hope. It’s slim and stylish and not like any other device out there. They were also more biased than any new gadget in recent memory. But is it worth buying? Test out an Apple iPad or Amazon Kindle & Keep it for Free. CLICK Here!!!
Given the cost, and a slew of disadvantages, the answer boils down to how much you’re willing to pay for one game. We’ve been testing both low end and top-end iPad all weekend, too, leaving family members aged 9 to 59 try and offer their reactions and the general conclusion is that, while the iPad is fun to play me, it is difficult to understand what role they fill that another device does not do much better. Here are the most serious problems we face:

Awkward
You can not move your hips like a phone, so have the same portability issues as any laptop – you need a case of some sort to protect and carry the cord. Even around the house, there is no simple way to bring the iPad. It’s too thin, heavy, slippery and expensive to put under your arm. Several of our testers were seen carrying it like a dinner tray, a butler will go from the kitchen table with the sofa. Portability, shmortability.
Is heavy
To be sure, at 1.5 pounds with all this functionality, the iPad is an impressive feat of engineering. But it just is not enough light (an ebook Kindle reader is about 10 ounces) and that adds heft to the embarrassment. Keeping iPad with one hand for more than a few minutes to watch a movie or read one e-Book effect on tired wrists. Even his involvement with both hands to read an ebook is tiring. Reading an ebook on a smartphone is ergonomically more practical.
Slippery
We could not ignore the awkward size and weight, but the iPad is slippery, and aluminum back is ever-so-slightly slightly curved. You feel as if I slip right if you try to keep it under your arm. And the kitchen counter, sliding and spinning as you try to write or to swipe the screen (required for navigation). We need rubber feet, but of course it will not be near as cool.
The screen has great shine
The iPad is the same glossy screen Macbook Pro lap-top and the Apple iMac desktop computers. If you are reading a very dim room, the lights will be noticeable and can be distracting. Outdoors, even in the shadows, the flash is really annoying.
While bright and contrasty indoors, the screen appears washed iPad and it is almost impossible to see in bright sunlight. Non-glossy The Kindle electronic ink on fares much better display outdoors on the screen of the iPad.
Fingerprints are annoying
After you use the iPad for a few minutes, the most glaring deficiencies (other than glare screen) fingerprints on screen. With a smartphone, you can wipe the screen on the shirt or your pants. The iPad is too big for that. We are wondering what to clean it with and where you keep cleaning supplies.
We multitask
The iPad is running the same operating system as the iPhone, and as a result has all of the restrictions of the iPhone. The most obvious of these is the inability to multitask – or do multiple things at once. The iPad can not run more than one app at a time (with the exception of a few applications of Apple, like the iPod, the music app iPad of playing). While this may be accepted as a smartphone, is a serious drawback to a device that Apple expects people to spend hours in a year. (11 iPhone Tips This also works for the iPad)
The browser is limited
The iPad also uses the same limited browser Safari found on the iPhone. While much fuss is made about the inability of the iPad to play the video Flash, there are other things you can do well. For example, Safari for iPad can not be used to create documents Google, only to see them.
The virtual keyboard stinks
While the virtual keyboard on the iPad is much larger than the iPhone, it is still difficult to press the glass. Even those who have used tiny, cramped keyboards netbook will be disappointed by the lack of real buttons and is likely to reduce typing one finger. The iPad may be associated with a physical keyboard, but even that is strange, because the operations usually done with a mouse or a trackpad on a desktop or laptop should be done with your finger on the iPad.
There is no USB port
The lack of even a single port USB – the universal means of connecting virtually everything these days – means you can not connect the device to a printer or other computer peripherals such as an external hard drive. The iPad can connect to cameras, but requires the purchase of a separate component from Apple.
iPhone-only apps look terrible
Apple boasts that many of the 150.000 apps already available for the iPhone will also work for the iPad. What the company did not tell you is that when enlarged to fit the screen of the iPad, these iPhone applications look awful in pictures and text very pixelated. For this reason, many people choose to buy applications that are made specifically for the iPad, which tend to be more expensive than their iPhone counterparts.

I think as these get better they will catch on with people more. But as of right now I don’t see the advantage of this over an iPhone.
